On Wednesday Mar 13, 2013. What a busy half term we have had so far! The children had a fantastic day last Wednesday on World Maths Day, where they had the opportunity to use the World Education Games website, do some Mondrian inspired artwork, and go on a Maths themed treasure hunt! We were all exhausted. then to follow came World Book Day! The staff were so impressed by the effort the children had made with their costumes, and we had a truly wonderful day.
Week beginning 6th March -Spiders. This week we have been learning about spiders. Some children used information books to find new interesting facts about spiders. We did a lot of art related to spiders and used circular and rectangular sponges to make a hairy spider. His week we have been .
The children also followed this up by writing about their visit to the pond. In Maths we explored data collection; the children completed several graphs and tallies including counting eye colours. And also completing a traffic survey from our school car park.
