During Art Club we been studying Van Gogh. We have looked at two of his most famous paintings. Van Gogh planned to do a series of a dozen pictures of sunflowers, to decorate his house in Arles. He started each painting at dawn to make sure they were finished within a day, before the sunflowers wilted. Hope you like our Sunflower pictures as much as we do! Starry Night to follow soon! Welcome to the School Council Blog Page. Last month the school council organised a reading breakfast. This was a lovely event where parents and children could enjoy a delicious croissant whilst sharing their favourite books. The event was a great success and definitely kept the Year 5 and 6 School council representatives busy making sure everyone was well fed and enjoying the reading activities.
