The children had a wonderful time celebrating the 50th Anniversary of our school. We were busy making hats and garlands then make some delicious chocolate crispy cakes for our Tea Party. We enjoyed trying lots of new foods which had been prepared by the other Early Years classes. Last week of Term! What a week in Nursery. Another busy week in Nursery. The children have been so busy with their topic Under the sea. We have been making and lea.
After a lovely half-term break, the children celebrated Canarian Day. The children have talked about how the party is celebrated, what makes up the Canary Islands, the typical clothes worn among other things. The children were told traditional Canarian tales and played traditional games, made typical Canarian sweets with gofio, ate a typical Canarian lunch and they finished the day off with a lovely bird show with Macaws and parrots. Bring your pet to school day.
