Posted on January 10, 2017. This term, we have started to do work with fractions. To help us find fractions of amounts Miss Brook has introduced us to the bar model. We really enjoyed using a large bar model on the floor as a whole class. We will keep you updated with how we are getting on with working with fractions. Posted on January 5, 2017.
Posted on January 16, 2017. We worked together to peel and cut the apples using the tools safely and then put the crumble on top. We then put the crumble into the oven to cook. Whilst it was cooking we decided whether we wanted to eat our crumble with or without custard. Then we sat down all together to eat it and talked about what it tasted like and if we liked it.
Posted on January 10, 2017. Year 1 have started using the main playground for their breaks and they are really enjoying the extra space to run around in! Weve worked really hard doing this and children have been using their timestables knowledge to help with this. Year 1 have been coming out at play times with Y2 these past 2 weeks, and weve liked having even more people to play with. We also really enjoyed the snow on Friday!
