For our Year 6 DT project this term, the children will be designing, making and eating a Ugandan-style meal. The children have already carried out some research on the internet about popular Ugandan foods, but today Mr Stanley prepared some Ugandan food for the children to taste.

Where has the time gone? We would like to thank everyone for the tremendous support you have given Class BM this year, from ensuring the children have everything they need, to all the materials you collected for our fabulous Bug Hotel! Yesterday in assembly Mr Burford awarded some children with Commendation certificates for excellence in behaviour. The children had won more than 200 personal points over the course of the year for good behaviour. Well done to everyone who received a certificate this time! July 16, 2015. Congratulations to those who were awarded their handwriting awards in assembly yesterday! .
We returned to craft club in January and have continued to make fantastic things using,felt,clay,glass paints,fabric pens on fabric to decorate cushions and bags. Mrs Lofts is making snakes with the children using recycled bottle tops, wire and clay. Mrs Ball has been helping the children to make pencil pot holders out of recycled cans and lolly sticks. Well done to you all.

When the others left Mrs Green and I stayed behind to play pool. We played best of three on a table which can only be described as unique. Mrs Green won 2-1! I will dwell on this no more! The next world pool champion? I bought a lunchtime rolex at this street stall in Katunguru.
